Protective barriers system introduction

The aluminum profile protective barriers system is an aluminum profile barriers that is specially installed around the production line to protect the safety of machinery, equipment and personnel. This kind of production line protective barriers system is composed of special aluminum profiles and various mesh or acrylic panels. The special accessories are connected and assembled to be a multi-functional aluminum profile frame product that can not only protect personnel and equipment, but also divide areas for use as partitions. It is mainly used for the protection of automated production lines, workshop isolation, etc. create a clean, tidy and efficient working environment for various industries.

Protective safety distance

Protective barriers system offer protection against parts that fly out, leaking liquid materials or similar things.The safety distances are dependent on the protective grille height.

  • You need a distance of merely 200 mm from the danger zone
  • When the height is 2000mm, there is still a small part of distance around 350mm from the top cannot get security protection,
  • Protective fences with a height of less than 1400 mm do not guarantee sufficient personal safety.
  • The standard height is 200mm from the floor. The distance of 650mm in the foot area cannot get sufficient safety protection.

As shown in the figure, the safety protective barriers is mainly composed of a protective unit and a strut unit. Single door, double door or sliding door can be selected according to actual needs.

The height of the protective barriers can be determined according to the actual required functions. If it is necessary to protect personnel and equipment, the recommended height is 2000-2200mm.

The protective unit includes two main forms: mesh partitions and panels partitions. Mesh partitions are mostly used for workshop area division and non-hazardous production lines, etc. panels partitions are mostly used for protection or isolation of production lines. There are two forms of protective mesh: woven mesh and welded mesh; protective panels include acrylic panels, aluminum-plastic panels, etc.

The standard grille is 40*40mm, φ4mm wire diameter, made of carbon steel,
and the surface treatment is galvanized or spray-coated. The commonly used
spray colors are black RAL9005, gray RAL906, and yellow RAL1018.
Color numbers can also be provided for other spray colors upon request.		The standard aluminum-plastic panel is silver gray, and the acrylic panel
is colorless and transparent. Different colors can also be selected according
to needs. The thickness of the standard panel is 4mm.

Types and differences of protective units

The protective units are divided into 30 series and 40 series according to different protective profiles;

The 30 series and 40 series form different protective units and are matched with different strut units;

The strength of the 30 series is weaker than that of the 40 series, and the price is advantageous. Different series are selected based on the different needs of customers.
